I absolutely loved this resort! When we arrived at Dreams La Romana, we were immediately greeted with a glass of champagne and a wet towel. We were also able to check-in right away without having to wait. The clerk at the front desk was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make us feel at home. He even escorted us to our room to make sure our accommodations were to our likening. He told us if we needed anything at all, to just call and they would bring it right up.
I was impressed with how well this resort catered to young children. My kids were so entertained with the Explorer’s Club, that one day they refused to leave when we tried to go and pick them up. The camp out was a huge hit for our children! They do have a tent set-up along with a fire to roast s’mores. Another thing that I really liked about their kid’s program was that they provided parents with a cell phone when you dropped off your kids. That way they could contact you if anything happened and vice versa.
We upgraded our room to an Oceanfront Suite and it was well worth the money! We had a fantastic view of the ocean, along with direct access to the swim up bar pool. All and all, the rooms were nice and met all of our needs. The maid service we had was excellent! The swim-up bar service was excellent! They made some of the best Pina Coladas that I have ever had.
I would definitely recommend this resort to families with children. If you are looking for a resort where both you and your kids can have a great time, then Dreams La Romana is a great choice.

My partner and I stayed for two weeks at Dreams La Romana in June 2009. The room was great, very comfortable beds, very modern, good air conditioning and mini bar stocked daily. If you ever run out of drinks just call reception and they will come and stock it. We tried all of the restaurants. Bordeaux was my favorite with a really nice lamb, steaks and chicken stuffed with blue cheese. The resort was beautiful. The staff was excellent.

My wife and I have been home now for two weeks, and can't stop looking at and sharing our photos of our experience at Dreams La Romana. We were very lucky to have had the chance to travel for our 10th wedding anniversary.
We were met at the resort with drinks and a very friendly staff at the front desk who checked us in immediately. Our room was clean, romantic, and faced a pathway leading to the pool. The grounds were spotless and perfectly manicured. The Caribbean Sea was literally right outside our room. Absolutely gorgeous, the azure blue waters calmed us immediately from what seemed to be already a full day of flying. The hotel staff was courteous and friendly. Over the next seven days, we had some wonderful dinners, without having to make reservations. There were different dining choices. For two very picky eaters, we found more than enough to eat for the entire week. We just loved Portofino and Oceana. The menus were fabulous and we dined at each multiple times and were able to order a totally different meal. Everything from the presentation to the taste to the decor of each location was worth each experience.
Without a doubt, we cannot recommend more highly Dreams La Romana. The staff is wonderful. The property is lovely. The food is plentiful and everybody can find something to eat. The facilities are clean. We loved Dreams La Romana and would go back in a heartbeat. Enjoy!

Thank you to your entire team for the fabulous time my wife and I had at Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa. It has been over two years since I have had the opportunity to take a vacation and I promised my wife we would go to a quiet place to relax. For the next six days we relaxed and enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. Every time we encountered a member of your team, we were greeted with a friendly smile and Hello.
The Dominican Show at the pool was spectacular. A special mention needs to go to the Entertainment Manager and his team. Whether it was an adult or children’s activity they gave 110% to ensure guests were enjoying themselves. Your entire staff does a great job. How they keep an open air lobby so pristine is amazing. When we returned to our room at night all had been refreshed and even our shoes had been straightened and our clothes placed neatly on the chair.
Thank you for making our Dreams vacation such a memorable experience.
