My wife and I traveled to Punta Cana to celebrate our first year anniversary and we were pleasantly surprised by the Dreams Palm Beach. Bottom line - the place is fantastic. We arrived and were greeted by nice cold towels and friendly staff at the front desk. The beach was wonderful. Very calm waters and you can walk for a ways on either side and take in the natural beauty. White sand and no seaweed - absolutely great. The bars may have been the highlight of the trip, simply because of the staff working at the bars. Raul and a couple of the others at the Pool Bar were very entertaining and it was always fun to go grab a drink from Raul to see how he would entertain the crowd next. Definitely try the "Sammy Sosa" at the pool bar and hopefully Raul will be working.
We went to the shows a couple of nights and they were pretty entertaining. The entertainment staff always seemed to do a great job. Lucky was pretty good on the beach but I have to say that Gasoline(a) was especially entertaining and always trying to get people involved and always trying to greet and meet the guests. They always had some sort of competition or show going on and sometimes multiple shows/ events.
In summary...the restaurants were great, the staff was great, the mix of people at the resort was great, and we had a great time.

My girlfriend and I just arrived back from Dreams Palm Beach, and we had an amazing time! The hotel was amazing. Everything was very up to date and had a home feel to it. As soon as you get of the bus the staff is right there to help you in any way possible. The check in was very fast!
White sand, blue clear water, and lots of chairs if you can crawl out of bed before noon. There was also a BBQ on the beach everyday so you never had to leave the beach or pool area to get a good lunch! It felt like you were having 5-star dinners every night while you where there. The food was amazing with so many different choices. We never had to wait once to get into any of the restaurants. There was always top notch beer and liquor. They never ran out once while we were there. Any drink, any way you want it was made for you. The drinks always tasted so good. The staff was so nice. They did everything for you with a smile. They work very hard and long hours. I found if you treated them with respect you got the same back. The staff got you very interactive with everyone at the resort by playing games. They really make this resort a great place to be.
We had a great time over all and would recommend this resort to anyone.

I can not say enough good things about my experience at Dreams Palm Beach in Punta Cana. My now husband and were married there on May 6th and we had 30 other guests join us. The staff were all amazing people. Every single one of the staff members we encountered were very polite, very nice and very obliging. We stayed in the Preferred Club. The rooms were beautiful, even better than the online pictures, spacious and very clean. You have a few more perks with the Preferred Club rooms. The bathrooms are much bigger and have rain shower heads, a Jacuzzi and double sinks.
The wedding planner Melani Mena was perfect for the job. She helped us with all the details and gave us tons of guidance. She was there for the wedding, reception, she was a translator and personally made sure our dreams came true and made everything run smoothly. Our wedding photos turned out amazing! I was a little nervous before we left about the quality of the photographer there but they are some of the best pictures I have ever seen.
The Entertainment Team are stars in their own right. They worked very long hours and had a different activity happening every hour of the day. You could participate in as little or as much as you wanted. It was the treatment from him and the other staff and Entertainment Team that will make us come back to this resort in the near future.
My advice is to go to this resort, you will not regret it!

Dreams Palm Beach is as close to perfection as it comes. We stayed in a handicap accessible room as my wife is permanently in a wheel chair. It was the best handicap accessible room we have experienced anywhere. The resort is large enough so you are not feeling claustrophobic yet small enough to be nicely intimate. The staff were amazing and were definitely the greatest asset at this resort. All in all this is a great resort.
